An exciting opportunity to join the Trust’s Programme Management Office team has arisen and you could be just who we are looking for.

What are we looking for?

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Senior Project Manager to join the Trust PMO team who are responsible for supporting, and or delivering projects towards the Trusts strategic objectives. The post holder will be responsible for leading the work package allocation process, setup and maintenance of PMO systems and processes and managing and leading specific IT and clinical complex projects within the portfolio. The post will also have line management responsibilities.

You will:

  • Be educated to a degree level or equivalent level of experience and have a project management qualification.
  • Have experienced in managing projects.
  • Be able to communicate clearly and effectively with a wide range of stakeholders influencing and aiding delivery to tight time-frames.
  • Be skilled in change management, service improvement and working with a range of stakeholders.
  • Have experience of setting up systems and processes in a PMO or a project environment.
  • Willing to work flexibly towards a rapidly moving change agenda

Responsibilities

  • Managing projects and leading specific work packages
  • Manage the allocation of work packages including direct/matrix manage team workloads
  • Serve on key boards and project groups as required
  • Setting up new systems and processes in a PMO
  • Carry out any duties commensurate with the grade as specified by the line manage
